Share a Story

Choosing Books
		Babies love books with photos and high contrast images. Books with texture on the pages are also wonderful for babies to touch. more books for babies
		Toddlers have fun with lift-the-flap books. They love books with rhyming words and repeated words. Simple text works best this this age. more books for toddlers
		Preschoolers are ready for longer stories, and love to point to special words on the page. Folk and fairy tales are also favorites. more books for preschoolers

Storytimes at your Library

Many storytimes require registration and fill up early. Registration is available online, by phone and in person. Check the schedule at your library to find out when registration opens.

Baby Storytime - for children birth to 24 months.
Delight and stimulate your baby's senses with books and music.
Toddler Storytime - for children ages 2 and 3.
Nurture a love of books. Learn letters, sounds, and new words.
Preschool Storytime - for children ages 4 to 6.
Enjoy stories together and build language skills.
Family Storytime - for children 2 years old and up.
Share books, stories, rhymes, music, and movement with your children.
World Language Storytime - for children 2 years old and up.
Experience the world in other languages.
