Cultivating Raspberries

The Friends of the Hopkins Library are excited to announce a new print of historic artwork at the Hopkins Library.  "The Cultivation of Raspberries" by David Granahan was once a mural at the Hopkins Post Office until 1972 when the building was demolished.  A portion of the mural was salvaged and later donated to the Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum at the University of Minnesota.  In 2011 the City of Hopkins purchased reproduction rights for a limited printing of the image, and the artwork on display at the library is one of these prints.  The full story of the mural is on the City of Hopkins website.

Thank you Friends of the Hopkins Library for purchasing and framing this print for display at the Hopkins Library.
