TODD WORNER - HISTORIAN -- OLLI LECTURE
TODD WORNER - HISTORIAN|
Thursdays, Sept 13 - Oct 4th; 1:30 - 3 p.m.
Open to both OLLI Members and the general public.
This is a special class offered in response to Dr. Worner's 2011 lecture about Winston Churchill. Through vivid anecdotes, speeches and images, meet two historical figures: a self-pitying, paranoid art school reject (Adolf Hitler) and a love-starved son, failing student and stuttering speaker (Winston Churchill).
NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!! The following has been confirmed with OLLI (University of Minnesota).
NO registration is required for either OLLI members or the general public. We will be using the same procedure as we use with “Tuesdays with a Scholar” with ample auditorium style seating in the large meeting room at the Southdale Library.
If, for any reason, you are unable to find a seat and cannot attend, we will take your name and you will be guaranteed seating at the remaining lectures.
