Author Talk: Brenda J. Child

Minneapolis Central Library Pohlad Hall Tuesday, Oct. 16, 7–9 p.m. Ojibwe author Brenda Child, will discuss her 2012 book "Holding Our World Together," which features countless stories of strong-willed, inspiring Ojibwe women and explores the remarkable role Ojibwe women played in sustaining Native American communities through the hardest years of the last two centuries. Post-presentation reception will honor significant Native American women. Books will be available for purchase and signing. This project is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
