Ojibwe author Brenda Child, will discuss her 2012 book "Holding Our World Together," which features countless stories of strong-willed, inspiring Ojibwe women and explores the remarkable role Ojibwe women played in sustaining Native American communities through the hardest years of the last two centuries. Post-presentation reception will honor significant Native American women. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
This project is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
