At the first meeting of American Sign Language Club, we learned the alphabet and how to finger-spell each others names.
We also learned numbers 1 through 10 and simple phrases like "my name is" and "nice to meet you". Then we practiced words like mother, father, sister, brother, etc.

After learning how to talk with our hands, we made crafts with our hands! Last week we made felt flower embellishments. Join us next week for more sign language and crafts.
