( Hint: the webmaster is not the author) YES / NO YES / NO Source - Where is the site located? • The site was created by a reliable source like a college, government agency, non-profit agency. YES / NO Currency - When was it last updated? • When the site was last updated. • Links are active. Date:       YES / NO Objectivity - What purpose does it serve? • Site list facts not opinions. • Site not trying to sell you anything. YES / NO YES / NO Value - How useful and easy is it to use? • Site is well organized and easy to find the information you need. YES / NO YES / NO If you answered yes to most of these questions you may have a good website for your project. Bonus Question: Do they say where they found their facts, and does it cite those resources? If they do you can use the citations to find other useful resources. Citations list - author, title, publisher, date - useful information to help find those resources.
