by Donald Celender, 1968 (2013)
The piece is a 16-foot high stabile composed of approximately 2,400 rectangles of brass, bronze, and copper, each hand-shaped and strung on monofilament. Restored in 2013 by Art Conservator Kristin Cheronis.
"Conceived as an ethereal, slightly active varicolored composite of reflecting forms that simulate nearby Minnehaha Falls, as well as introduce a sense of subtle sound and motion within the library."
