There’s a spirit of adventure and imagination that beckons visitors to the Rockford Road Library children’s area, thanks in large part to this whimsical sculpture by Christopher Tully. A longtime local sculptor known for his colorful clay works, Tully has created a playful take on “Jack and the Beanstalk” that climbs up the wall and hangs down overhead. The wide eyes of the hairy giant chase Jack down the big green beanstalk, inviting kids to jump into their own literary adventures as they browse the books below.
