On Monday, February 20 (Presidents Day), Hennepin County libraries are closed.
WestlawNext is an online legal research service that provides access to legal research of Minnesota and U.S. cases, headnotes, statutes, court orders, court rules and administrative decisions. Previously offered in only a handful of Hennepin County libraries, it is now available systemwide.
Hennepin County Library access is Minnesota-focused and includes:
Primary Law with KeyCite – Minnesota: Minnesota cases, court orders, rules, statutes and KeyCite Citator.
Federal Materials – MN: Federal Statutes (USCA), U.S. Supreme Court Cases, Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals Cases and U.S. District Court Cases for Eighth Circuit States.
Minnesota Practice Series: all volumes and updates to Minnesota Practice Series.
WestlawNext access is limited to in-library use. Only a total of four people can be logged in to Westlaw throughout the library system at any one time, so please remember to log out after using WestlawNext.
Learn more about using WestlawNext by clicking on "Help" near the bottom of WestlawNext.
