We are Hmong Minnesota, a pop-up exhibit from the Minnesota Historical Society, is traveling to North Regional (September), Wayzata (October), Brooklyn Park (November) and Sumner (December) libraries this yet year.
It is free and open to all.
Last November marked the 40th anniversary of the Hmong people living in Minnesota after emigrating from Laos. Today, there are 66,000 Hmong living in Minnesota. Their stories of struggle, sacrifice and contribution were on display in this exhibit at the Minnesota History Center through January of this year.
