On Monday, May 29 (Memorial Day), Hennepin County libraries are closed.
Join us Tuesday, June 14, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Ridgedale Library to review preliminary designs for the library’s renovation project.
Hear from Hennepin County Board of Commissioners Chair Jan Callison and Library Director Lois Langer Thompson, as well as the project architect, and give your feedback on project plans.
Can’t make the open house? Call or text us with your ideas at 612-567-0719.
The renovation is slated to begin in 2017 and will take about a year to complete. Upgrades will help create a welcoming environment, re-imagine library spaces, improve sightlines, maintain the building’s exterior and infrastructure, and more. The library will be closed temporarily during the project.
A community survey was conducted in late 2015-early 2016 to inform the renovation planning process.
