Hennepin County Library has added a new collection of books by African writers; CDs and DVDs by African artists etc. These materials are available at Brookdale, Augsburg, Brooklyn Park, Eden Prairie, Rockford Road and Hopkins libraries and can be checked out at no cost. Please visit one of these libraries or go onine to reserve any of the materials. Also, remember to bring your preschoolers to African storytime this spring at Brookdale library starting Saturday May 17-31 at 11:00am.
