Spring is a sensory experience
In winter anyone spending time with young children has to find indoor ways to offer sensory exploration: washing dishes, playing with play dough, kneading bread. In Springtime kids can finally take their exploration outside. Even if its still too cold to get messy, they can poke sticks in the mud, feel grass on their fingers, and the breezes, whether warm or cold, on their skin. There are wonderful books that will help children connect their own experiences with a larger world of experience. Discover some of these books on the Delightful to Share in Spring book list.
