Use songs and fingerplays to: Improve children's motor skills and coordination. Help children to observe and follow along. Teach concepts (body parts, counting, up/down). MAKE SOUNDS (Phonological awareness) Have FUN! Use puppets to: Stretch children's imaginations. Introduce a book. Ask questions about a book.
