Hennepin County Library welcomes attendees of the 2008 Public Library Association conference, being held right in our front yard (Minneapolis, MN).
Come visit! We welcome conference go-ers to visit Minneapolis Central Library, 300 Nicollet Mall (9 blocks N. of the Convention Center). The Cesar Pelli-designed building was completed in 2006. Listed below are floor-by-floor guides to the library's collections:
- First Floor (Fiction, Children's)
- Second Floor (Business, Science, Gov. Docs, Teen Central)
- Third Floor (Arts, Music and Literature)
- Fourth Floor (History and Social Sciences)
- Childrens Library
- Special Collections
