I liked this action packed book a lot, but I thought that he made a little too big of a deal about that he's not sopposed to be writing it. Other than that, it was a great book with wonderfull writing.

In the beginning of the book they are going to camp-half blood, when they are in the car a monster almost eats them but takes his mother to the underworld. When he tries to save his mother he's in trouble because everybody thinks that he stole the missing Lighting Bolt. After he saved his mother they have to get the bolt to Zeus before midnight. When they arrived their his friend tried to stop him, because he wanted the bolt so they fought but it was almost midnight but they returned it to Zeus. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Percy Jackson
