Cover Art In a season of family reunions, neighborhood block parties and any number of other get-togethers, finding new and exciting recipes to share is part of the fun. The James Beard Foundation Awards, presented this spring, honor cookbooks of all categories, including vegetarian and international cuisine, beverage recipes and baking and desserts. You can also find their picks for food memoirs and professional instruction books. Wherever your heart--and stomach!--is drawn, the JBF Awards offer some wonderful suggestions to expand your cooking repertoire this summer! Here is a brief sampling:
