1.Why is Stephen so angry when his father reaches out to shake his hand upon his arrival in Los Alamos? Why do you think Stephen was sent to live with his dad? From what you have seen, what do you think of Stephen's mom?
2.How does Stephens relationship with his father change at the end of the novel.
3.What measures does the government take to make Los Alamos safe and secure for the scientists and their families?
4.Why is Stephen so intent on finding out what the big secet is? Would you break the rules to find something out that was secret but obviously really important?
