by L'Engle, Madeleine An Outstanding book. I loved it. This book is all about time travel and the Theory of Relativity. If anyone is into that stuff, then I would suggest reading this book. (This is actually the first book of 4 in the series.) posted Jun 13, 2005

by MacDonald, George, 1824-1905 In this book, a boy makes friends with the wind and the wind tells him stuff. YA. Good book if you like fantasy posted Jun 23, 2005

by Cooper, Susan, 1935- "Over Sea, Under Stone" is a total thriller. At times, it gets sooo exciting, I find myself skipping through paragraphs to get to the climax!
It is one capital book, people! [Series: Dark is Rising] posted Jun 3, 2005

by Golding, William, 1911-1993 This book is quite good! It points out the defects in human nature, how when there is no law or rules, everthing goes BAZURK and things get messy! posted Jun 18, 2005

by O'Dell, Scott, 1898-1989 This book makes you feel very lonely, if you imagine yourself to be where Karana (the main character) is. Scott O'Dell has some pretty good books. [Newbery Medal Winner] posted Jun 23, 2005

by Tolkien, J. R. R. 1892-1973 This is a classic book that anyone and everyone over 12 should read!! The first of three in a series called "The Lord of the Rings". posted Jun 18, 2005

by Alexander, Lloyd Alexander is a really good author. I have read nearly all of his books which include the Westmark trilogy and the Prydain Chronicles. This book had an intelligent story line of a boy, a poet-turned-donkey, and a pythoness who went on all sorts of adventure together. A good read!! posted Jul 5, 2004

by Dickens, Charles, 1812-1870 Dickens wrote "Oliver Twist" for the sole purpose of making people understand what third-class children went through back then in England. I think that this book might have helped stop that from continuing. A great work of lit.!! posted Jun 3, 2005

by Eager, Edward Amazing creativity! Had great content; much like the children's author Edith Nesbit. I think that if you like fantasy and books about wishes, you would freak over this book. Also has a lot of humour in it!!! Great Book! posted Jul 5, 2004

by Dickens, Charles, 1812-1870 SUPER GOOD! Old english was full of child abuse at that time and making them work in the factories. posted Oct 4, 2005

by Dickinson, Peter, 1927- Another of those "leave-your-home-town-to-do-an-impossible-quest-and-succeed" books. Very Impressive. A lot of magic in this book!
