by Anderson, Mary Newhall. I think it is a great book. Here's a short summary: Christina is worried whether her racing horse, Star is up to the competition of the third race in the Triple Crown, Belmont. But she gets tips from a previous Triple Crown Winner, Seattle Slew, and does well. [Series: Thoroughbred #59] posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

by Creech, Sharon Amazing, awesome, undescribable in words. No wonder it got a Newberry Medal!!! I was drawn into its suspenseful plot about a fearsome trip across the ocean, and discoveries of the truth. This book is truly wonderful, astounding, astonishing, apprensive, and every other discribing word there is. posted May 9, 2006 at 11:08AM

by Danziger, Paula, 1944- It was a really good book that told about real kids with real life problems. From family problems to problems between friendships. I really couldn't wait to turn the page and see what would happen next. I wanted to stay up and read the book the whole night! posted Jun 29, 2005
