Cover ArtThe book thief
by Markus Zusak
I got this book for Christmas, and I had never read it before. But it was the single best book I’ve ever read. It kept my attention and the characters are so loveable. Set in Germany during the Holocaust, you have a very powerful novel. Zusak’s other novel is very good too. It’s called ’I Am the Messenger.’ Try both, as they’re very different from each other.   posted Jul 2, 2009 at 10:39AM

Cover ArtMemoirs of a teenage amnesiac
by Zevin, Gabrielle
Another Gabrielle Zevin book. The main character loses her memory and her friends try to help her acclimate. But she changes from the person she was before the accident into someone totally new.   posted Jul 2, 2009 at 10:15AM

Cover ArtI heart you, you haunt me
by Schroeder, Lisa
A quick read, since it's in poetry form. Easily read in one sitting. The love story is so beautiful! But you have to read it for yourself.   posted Jul 2, 2009 at 10:13AM

Cover ArtThe dead and the gone
by Pfeffer, Susan Beth, 1948-
The sequel to Susan Beth Pfeffer's 'Life as we Knew it.' It has the same background to it, but there are different character. Therefore, different experiences. It was really good.   posted Jul 2, 2009 at 10:10AM

Cover ArtBeastly
by Flinn, Alex
Oh my god! The best book I've read in a while! It's roughly 304 pages and I read it all in one day. It was just that good! It's based on 'Beauty and the Beast' but it has a modern twist to it.   posted Jul 2, 2009 at 10:09AM

Cover ArtJane Eyre
by Bronte, Charlotte, 1816-1855
I read this for a book report (9th grade English). My advice is either start reading it right away or pick another book. Despite the immense pressure I had to get this read, I really enjoyed the love story and the characters in the story.   posted Jul 2, 2009 at 10:08AM

Cover ArtElsewhere
by Gabrielle Zevin
This book is awesome! So’s her other book ’Confessions of a Teenage Amnesiac.’   posted Jul 1, 2009 at 5:30PM

Cover ArtThe secret life of bees
by Kidd, Sue Monk
This book was very slow in the beginning, but I got into it as I went along. Everyone should give this book a chance. It’s not totally boring like a few other people have portreyed.   posted Jul 1, 2009 at 5:18PM
