by Shusterman, Neal. Abortion is made illegal, but instead, when you turn 13, your parents have 5 years to decide if you should be "unwound" or not. Unwinding is the process in which, for example, the cut off your hand and graft it to someone else who loses their own hand in a car crash. Story about 2 kids who are running away from it. by DuBose, Martha Hailey. I usually don't like "ye olde" books, but is really an exception. Please, just try it. It doesn't talk about sex, or drugs, or any of those things.
