I had different feelings at different times. At some points I was sad. Some points I was happy. I thought the book was really good. It told a story about three kids who's parents die all of a sudden and they have to move to a relative they have never even heard of before. His name is Count Olaf. But he is planning a wicked plan to get to the money the children's parents left for them. This is a series so I think after you read this you should read this book, read the rest. This is one of my all time favorites. Written as a series of letters to and from the main character Elizabeth, this book will make you laugh out loud. The only drawback, it goes so fast, you'll wish it was longer!   posted Apr 9, 2004
