 Tidings of comfort and joy by Bunn, T. Davis, 1952- Sort of a story within a story. A teen girl with a serious disease goes to stay with her grandma while her family is on vacation. The girl had been tormenting her heartbroken family throughout her illness, because of bitterness, but Gran tells her a story.  Les miserables by Hugo, Victor, 1802-1885 Amazingly intricate and deep, this story follows multiple characters. I've read it three times, but I learn several knew things every time I read it. This book has romance, action, history, and...well, let me abridge or this review will have chapters:This novel is breathtakingly complex, but I love it! Oh, and beware!
