 Eragon by Paolini, Christopher. Out of them all, total, hardcore fantasy. Good story but WARNING: VERY LONG! The entire series is huge so I'm only putting the 1st one up. Has the whole fantasy package: dragons, elves, dwarves, magicians, you got it. posted Jun 20, 2010 at 9:32PM

 The named by Curley, Marianne. By far the BEST fantasy book I've EVER read! Not only does it have some really good romance (just the right amount, guys, not super lovey-dovey, okay?) but it has an amazing stories with lots of plots, twists and turns.  The warrior heir by Chima, Cinda Williams. Jack is a normal boy, that is until one day when he forgets to take his medication for his heart and nearly kills a kid at soccer tryouts. This starts a chain of events with shady characters and Jack's the center. He learns of his lineage; as one of the last of the "warriors" and two large and powerful houses will kill to get him.

 Extras by Westerfeld, Scott. It's the last "extra" book in the Uglies Trilogy and although the other books could be added this one is the best example. Awesome series, awesome book. posted Jun 20, 2010 at 8:56PM
