 Faerie wars by Brennan, Herbie My absolute favorite fantasy book I have ever read. The book starts with 2 teenagers; Henry, who is having problems with his family and at school. And Pyrgus, a reluctant faerie prince that gets into more trouble than he can handle. The faeries are portrayed more realistically than small winged beings.  Heartlight by Barron, T. A. For a Sci-Fi/Fantasy book, this was really cool. A story about a girl and her grandfather who try to save the moon from disappearing from the universe. It's a bit strange in the beginning but it is a must. posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:52AM

 Abarat by Barker, Clive, 1952- This book I avoided for a while because the plot sounded really goofy, but once I started it, I couldn't stop. A great fantasy and yet haunting in some parts. A great book. posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:51AM

 Fullmetal alchemist. 1 by Arakawa, Hiromu, 1973- This series is very fun and easy to read. It is about 2 brothers that travel to many different countries to find the Philosopher's stone so that they can get their original bodies back.  Skellig by Almond, David, 1951- This book is for a younger audience, but it is still a good book. It's a story about 2 kids that take care of a winged man named Skellig that lives in the garage of an old house. Simply fantastic. posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:47AM
