Cover ArtFaerie wars
by Brennan, Herbie
My absolute favorite fantasy book I have ever read. The book starts with 2 teenagers; Henry, who is having problems with his family and at school. And Pyrgus, a reluctant faerie prince that gets into more trouble than he can handle. The faeries are portrayed more realistically than small winged beings. Plenty of adventure and fun.   posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:55AM

Cover ArtHeartlight
by Barron, T. A.
For a Sci-Fi/Fantasy book, this was really cool. A story about a girl and her grandfather who try to save the moon from disappearing from the universe. It's a bit strange in the beginning but it is a must.   posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:52AM

Cover ArtAbarat
by Barker, Clive, 1952-
This book I avoided for a while because the plot sounded really goofy, but once I started it, I couldn't stop. A great fantasy and yet haunting in some parts. A great book.   posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:51AM

Cover ArtFullmetal alchemist. 1
by Arakawa, Hiromu, 1973-
This series is very fun and easy to read. It is about 2 brothers that travel to many different countries to find the Philosopher's stone so that they can get their original bodies back. Alchemist lovers and amature manga readers are sure to love this great series.   posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:49AM

Cover ArtSkellig
by Almond, David, 1951-
This book is for a younger audience, but it is still a good book. It's a story about 2 kids that take care of a winged man named Skellig that lives in the garage of an old house. Simply fantastic.   posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:47AM

Cover ArtKit's wilderness
by Almond, David, 1951-
I usually don't like horror, but this book I found very entertaining. Anyone who likes low-key horror will like this book.   posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:45AM

Cover ArtWatership Down
by Adams, Richard, 1920-
A story about rabbits looking for a safe place to live. Although it is quite dated, it is a sure must for fantasy readers.   posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:43AM

Cover ArtThe hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy
by Adams, Douglas, 1952-2001
Hilarious. Written by the man that wrote scripts for Monty Python, this story is off the walls. Anyone that likes Sci-Fi, Comedy, or both is sure to love this book.   posted Jun 29, 2008 at 11:42AM
