 Memoirs of a teenage amnesiac by Zevin, Gabrielle. A great book told from a girl who hit her head and can't remember anything. She tries to piece her life back together. Overall, this books is a good read about figuring out who you are and everyone around you. posted Apr 18, 2010 at 10:16AM

 Conversations with God : an uncommon dialogue by Walsch, Neale Donald. This book will probably make you think more than any other book on this list. It's about a guy who talks to God, and writes down their conversations. It's funny, true, and inspiring. posted Apr 18, 2010 at 10:14AM

 The last song by Sparks, Nicholas. This is my favorite Nicholas Sparks novel. It's about a rebellious girl who's sent to live with her father for the summer. Like all of his novels, The Last Song deals with love, break-up, friendship, parents, death, and much more. A truly interesting and fun, yet sad read. posted Apr 18, 2010 at 10:13AM

 The lovely bones by Sebold, Alice. A book told through the voice of a dead girl. The book is the suspenseful story of figuring out who murdered the protagonist. This book isn't really a thriller, but it is gripping and sad. posted Apr 18, 2010 at 10:12AM

 My sister's keeper : a novel by Picoult, Jodi, 1966- Though many people have probably read this book, it is always one of my favorites. The plot is about a sister who was created to donate organs to her sick sister. The plot is very intense, and will have you crying by the end. posted Apr 18, 2010 at 10:09AM

 The outsiders by Hinton, S. E. Maybe you read this in school (I did!), but this book is a great book about fitting in. It talks about the different sides of the city and involves fighting, stealing, drinking, and drugs. Overall, this book is a really good classic read - I really enjoyed it in class.  In a heartbeat by Ellsworth, Loretta. A book about a girl who had a heart transplant and can hear the thoughts of the girl who gave her the heart.
