I think this is awesome and really detail in what to black americans in the old and still tells a great story. You can't wait to see what happens next. My advice if you haven't read it read it. The story is about girl and her trip to Memphis where so much and in the 1930s. One of the best book ever written!! [Logan Family Saga: Book 4]   posted May 9, 2005

Cover ArtSilent to the bone
by Konigsburg, E. L.
I thought it was spectacular. If you like books about to friends trying to keep their friendship through hard times, you'll like this book. It's all about a boy named Branwell. He cannot talk, well not until his baby sister found herself in a coma. The only person who can help Branwell is his best friend, Connor. But even Connor is having difficulty reaching Branwell. Read this book!   posted Apr 9, 2004

The daughters of the moon series are the best books i have ever read i once stayed up until 3AM in the morning it is very hard to put down. These books are a about the daughters of the moon they protect people from an evil force called the atrox i cant say much more or i'll give the adventure away. This series contains 8 books the 9th coming very soon. I think ages 11-any age would like these books. My favorie one so far is Night Shade. [Series: Daughters of the Moon #1]   posted Apr 9, 2004

Cover ArtAnne Frank and me
by Bennett, Cherie
I thought it was great. I read it all in one night and it's 282 pages. I definately reccomend this book. It's all about the Holocost, and how one girl re-lives it. She learns to appreciate this time and what happened in it, instead of not paying attention in class. Unexplainably she ends up in 1942, at Hitlers prime, and is a French Jew. Read this miraculous story of a young girl trying to find who she is.   posted Apr 9, 2004

Cover ArtThe house of the scorpion
by Farmer, Nancy, 1941-
I thought it was very good. I read it in a short amount of time because I couldn't keep my eyes off of it. It all starts out at a lab. A lab where Matthew is produced. Yes produced. This "boy" is a clone, a clone from a very old man who is perhaps the most powerful alive. As Matthew discovers how he is not really human and how he is different from everyone else, he is treated horribly or royaly through out the book.   posted Apr 9, 2004
