by Strohmeyer, Sarah I love the "Bubbles" series. Sarah Strohmeyer writes with both obvious and surprisingly subtle humor. I laughed outloud countless times while listening to this book, and found myself excited to get in the car to go to work so I could listen to the next installment. The mysteries are complicated and intriguing but the characters and their relationships are the most entertaining of many positive features of these books. Read or listen to them all! posted Aug 4, 2007 at 8:14AM

by Parker, Robert B. I expected a lot from this book, especially with Joe Mantegna narrating, but I was sadly disappointed and couldn’t listen past disk three. The story is ridiculous and the prose stilted. I guess it was meant to be amusing, but Robert Parker couldn’t really pull it off. A loser. Sandy posted Aug 4, 2007 at 8:10AM

I have a long commute to work. Mostly I listen to mysteries b/c they are fun and don't require much brain power, but every once in a while I listen to something a little more educational. |
