Plus side of being a Midnighter - you have the whole world to explore with your secret powers for an hour. Downside - you share that world with monsters who literallly want to eat you. Cool!

Midnighters: The Secret Hour is the first book in a trilogy --- it starts out with Jessica Day, who just moved from Chicago, Illinois to a small town in Oklahoma called Bixby. The people and places around her seem normal, but there is a mysterious hour every night that leaves Jessica breathless. Finally she finds Dess, Rex, Melissa, and Jonathan, who help her discover the secrets to the "secret hour" and help protect her from the monsters trying to kill her. This is a wonderful book for teens! I highly recommend this book!!!^_^

This book is pretty good. it is about a girl who has an extra hour in the day. and evil dark creatures are trying to eat her.
