The founding editor of Modern Age and The University Bookman, he wrote more than thirty books, The Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal in Mecosta, Michigan, continues his work, hosting seminars, writers, and research scholars at Piety Hill, Kirk's ancestral home
