This book is my favorite book that Orson Scott Card has written except for Ender's Game and Teacher's Pest (one of the four novellas in the book First Meetings). Its set about 3000 (2000?, 1000?) some years after Ender's Game, and is about the continuing expierences of Ender and Val, who have been kept alive by traveling between worlds in starships at relativistic speeds. Once more, intelligent life has been discovered, this time on a clony planet that is Catholic/Portugese. The "Piggies", as the lifeforms are called are protected, because humanity doesn't want to commit "xenocide" (wiping out an alien race) like Ender did to the buggers in Ender's Game. Ender's act of xenocide is now cosidered a terrible thing and his name is like a swear word so he goes by the name Andrew. Also, this is the first book where you are introduced to Jane, a computer program like entity who seems to have powers unheard of for a computer program. Anyway, if your're still reading this you've deemed yourself worthy in my eyes so have a nice day/night/evening/hibernation period.
