The suspense of the book leaves you wanting more when you've finished reading. The style of Kevin Brooks writing is amazing, the way he words certain things makes you almost rip out the pages trying to read it so you can find out what happens next. It makes you laugh, cry, and makes you feel as if you are Candy or Joe.

This book was amazing. It was about a boy named Joe and how he meets a girl with many problems that is trying to get away from her life. He wants to help her even if he gets in trouble. I would recommend this book to teen girls who like romantic but also thrilling book.
