At last several of the plot lines and earlier questions are resolved. This book is much faster paced than "The Fiery Cross". There are a couple of minor situations which don’t fit with bits from the author’s previous books, but nothing that would damage the continuing reader’s enjoyment. Definitely not a book to read if you haven’t been following the series--it doesn’t stand alone!
