Lost thimble is no Da Vinci code. The gruesome plot is too unfathomable to lend any credence. Novel not worth the hype nor the bother. 2 of 10 stars

Lost symbol - felt like reading Angels & Demon all over again. Same writing style (which is true for any author).
The ending of the book didn’t live up to the build-up that was given for it.
Fast paced book. Can be read once! 6 out 10 stars.

Once again Brown makes the arcane interesting for the masses, by mixing it in with the break neck pace of a non stop thriller. Worth reading if you might be open to learning new connections about a lot of our countrie’s values and the symbols that express those. His genius lies in giving us much to ponder while we’re also having fun -- great way to learn!
