What other readers are saying about this title:
Brookdale Boy said:
The most accurate portrayal of the mindset of a criminal defense attorney I’ve seen - the right combination of self-interest (Money) and idealism. Like connolly’s best stories, this one reads like a really good law and order episode. Only problem is that the secret becomes obvious rather early on, but the book is still well worth it.

Michael Connelly's books are usually police procedurals; this is a new protagonist. They're all very good. I'm recommending this one because in audio it snapped with life.
