I LOVED this book!!! I admit that at times it was predictable, but you could get by that very easily. The way the story switches back and forth from the city in the afterlife to the here and now makes for a great story. I love the way Brockmeier ties the two places together. I was a bit disappointed in the end. I actually expected something a little different...but it’s always good to get something unexpected in life, isn’t it?

This book I got off a reading list that was very good, only trouble is, I can't find the list again. But it was very entertaining and my, so...complex and unusual.
