While digging through the ruins of war-torn City 5, 14-year-old Toni V finds the diary of a girl named Pelly D. He begins to read it and soon finds he can't put it down. This book was the same for me. The changes that happen in Pelly D and the world around her are terrifing and gripping. As I read, an old saying came to mind: Those who ignor history are doomed to repeat it.

This is scary- it's about people on another planet originally from Earth who aren't like us.
