This is kind of a mysterious book. It's like all about life and mother nature. Fun to read.

I did not like this book. I strongly dislike how people compare it to the Hunger Games. It is not a book I would recommend. I especially did not like the ending I thought it was awkward. I also had some questions on the book. I thought maybe the author could have told the reader more on what was going on. For example, how did the Giver transmit the memories? Like what gave him the power to do that? I would also have liked to know more about who made their society the way it is. I can see why some people like this book. It is different and those books are fun to read.

If you want a quick read that still wows you, this is the book. It takes place in a setting that is quite unusual to us. At first it seems like a normal world, but through out the book you realize that it is anything but. Like nothing I've ever read before. Everyone should read it. It's quick and interesting.
