This was a very fast read. I liked the narrative of the main character, Max, and her attitude in addressing the reader directly. The character development of Max and Fang was interesting.
At a beach, Max tried to remove a microchip from her arm. When Fang and the gang arrived, they worried she was trying to slit her wrist. At the end of that scene, Max narrates that something has changed, but she didn’t know what it was. I found that this “change” continues to be explored in book #3, Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports. I have yet to read #4, so no comment.

I disagree with Darkness’s comment. A very fast read, highly addictive characters. I think this is an amazing sequal. I’m mezmorized by Patterson once again.

Yes. I really like the Maximum Ride series and i’m anxiously awaiting the next! I read the first 6 really fast, so they all kind of blend together, but i never get tired of Max, Fang, Iggy, Gasman, Angel, and Nudge’s adventures!
