Chance does some things very well. Interesting premise, fast pace, interesting plot twists. If that is what is most important to you, you will like this. What is weak is a deep enough characterization to make me care about the characters. Cassie is a little dim. The bad guys are somewhat 2 dimensional. I’ve read worse but I have read better paranormal fiction.
