As a Nora Roberts fan, this is one of the most frustrating novels she has written. It is much too long and the heroine behaves more like a complete nincompoop than a serious person. In my judgement, only one tenth of the novel is worth reading. 1 out of 10 stars.

Reece Gilmore had everything. Friends, promising career, a place. She had everything she needed, until one fateful night. A couple months later she lands in a town called Angels Fist, finds a job and a place. Settles in like this is 'home' again. But when she sees something that was not to be seen, she put her life at risk by mess with someone who doesnt want to be fooled with. When she ran into Brody, she told him everything she saw. They rushed back to his place to give the sheriff a call. But when the cop came over to get a look, there was no sign of anyone being there. With the whole town thinking she is crazy, Brody, a writer, is the only one who believes her, so he helps Reece on her quest to find who kill the woman. Items being where she never put them, someone wanted her gone. But when they had one more thing left to finding who this killer is, someone special got hurt in the process. 15
