I extremely enjoyed reading this award winning realistic fiction novel. It was a great book about a boy, Jimmy, whos life took a turn after his dad escapes from jail and comes to get him. Jimmy ends up traveling with his father half way around the country and they build an interesting relationship with one another. Both of them keep finding out more and more about one another and become closer and closer until something causes Jimmy to loose trust in his dad. When jimmy's father wants to take him to go find the man that he says committed the crime he was convicted for, Jimmy goes along and becomes part of a very heart wrenching experience for a young boy. This was a great book and i reccomend that you choose this for your next read.
