This book was very good. In a confusing way. It is about a few kids in a drivers ed class. they pull a prank. it seemed like harmless fun and they thought no one would get hurt. They were right. No one got hurt, instead, someone died.

Very suspenseful. Although I have seen better books by this author. A class of drivers ed decides that no one can get there licsene with out stealing a sign first. One such group steals a Thickly Settled, Morgan Road, and a Stop Sign. Much trouble arises.

This is a very powerful piece of fiction. I was stunned how one action that three teenagers made, ended someone's life, and how they held on to the guilt until breaking point, it was almost unbearable for the reader. It was really unfortunate that it was a mother who lost her life and left behind a husband and a two year old child. I applaud Caroline as she stuns me again with this powerful novel.

It was hard to read the first part of the book, but it got much better farther into it. Horrible thing to have a mother die.
