Jack is a normal boy, that is until one day when he forgets to take his medication for his heart and nearly kills a kid at soccer tryouts. This starts a chain of events with shady characters and Jack's the center. He learns of his lineage; as one of the last of the "warriors" and two large and powerful houses will kill to get him. An amazing action/fantasy book.

A very intriguing tale of wizards and magic mixed with down-to-earth sequences. The first book of a trilogy all of which are fantastic. I would recommend this book and the entire trilogy to anyone looking to reignite their imagination with some fantasy food for thought. An exciting read for anyone 12 and up.

I think this book is good but I've only read the first few chapters so I can't be a great judge. ******* (so far). P.S. It also has some sequels.
