My world was a bit dull, but after reading Unwind, it changed my life of thinking! It is a must read book. It is the sneak peak to the past before The Hunger Games. Absolutely phenomenal!

When kids reach a certain age, they can be 'unwound', their parts grafted onto other people. This book has three protagonists but is still freaky cool.

This book is thilling and a little romantic but boys if you don’t like romantic than this is the type of book you might want to skip although it doesn’t have that much romance. This book was a little scary but if you keep reading it you won’t want to put it down my faveorite charter is Conner a 15 yaer old running for his and 2 others lives. He was the one to get Risa,a ward of the state and Lev,a theith who was born to be unwound sucked in to this whole mess but if you like scary books than stop at hennapin library now! I liked it and I’m only 12!

After the Heartland War, a parent may choose to have their child, aged 13-18, unwound, or salvaged for their organs but technically still alive. Follow the stories of Connor, Risa, and Lev as they try to escape their fate- a fate that has them marked for unwinding. One of my favorite books ever, I highly recommend it.

Abortion is made illegal, but instead, when you turn 13, your parents have 5 years to decide if you should be "unwound" or not. Unwinding is the process in which, for example, the cut off your hand and graft it to someone else who loses their own hand in a car crash. Story about 2 kids who are running away from it. And another kid who wants to run to it.

Ok. This was just creepy, but that didn't stop me from adding to this book list, I guess, so it must be perfectly good to read. HOWEVER - drat. Lost my train of thought. It's somewhere in the Siberian Steppes, I believe. My train of thought, that is - not the purple llama.

This YA novel begins during the aftermath of a second civil war in the United States of America: this one not between the North and the South, but between Pro-Life and Pro-Choice factions. Abortion has been made illegal, but parents may now choose to have their children "unwound" when they turn 13...
