Mudbound by Hillary Jordan ©2008 takes us back to WWII farm life in Mississippi. Henry marries Laura who is college educated and city raised. They move to a farm with no electricity, or plumbing and a lot of hard work. Mixed in with all of this is tenant farming, brother relationships, and the race issue. Put all of your work aside and enjoy!
