As 1 of the books in a series of 14, it is one of the best wahen it has a double plot. The first is when the Nome King, the underworld ruler plans to take over Emerald City by making a gigantic underground tunnel. And the second plot is when Ozma of Oz has let Dorothy and her Aunt and Uncle live in the land of OZ as they go on a journey across it to meet many strange and interesting creatures!
