I heard alot about this book before I read it. Although it was easy to read and interesting in some parts mostly I was not impressed. I will say that Jodi Picoult spends alot of time doing research before she writes her books and that does show up.
I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to confront their own beliefs on several topics or anyone who just loves this author’s work in general.

I couldn’t read another book for a while after this one because it made me really think about my beliefs pretty much on everything. A book is worth reading if it forces you to think hard and long about it well after the last page is read.

Very good. Shay Bourne killed June Nealon's daughter and husband who was also a police officer. Soon after June had another child named Claire who she was pregnant with during the trial. Claire needed a heart and Shay was put on deathrow and wanted to give his heart to Claire.
