Hunting ground
Briggs, Patricia
Adult Fiction BRIGGS
From Library Journal:
Briggs's second entry in her Alpha and Omega series (after Cry Wolf) follows married werewolves Anna and Charles. A conference is arranged to address the wolves' concerns of being outed to humans, but things go awry when some wolves are attacked by a vampire gang. Anna and Charles's relationship feels tender and real, and Briggs entwines wolf and human behavior to create a believable cast of characters. The setting is well described, the pace quick, and the action keeps readers coming back for more. Verdict Fantasy readers, especially those who enjoy paranormal romance, will best appreciate this title. [Dabel Brothers Publishing will adapt Cry Wolf as a comic book series in August, and Ace will publish a graphic novel of the first four installments, the imprint's first foray into the graphic novels, in November.-Ed.]-Jennifer Draper, Pickering P.L., Ont.
